- An email requesting you to sign a book sign-out form for the book required for the course. We will NOT ship your book until this book sign-out form is completed, so be sure to sign it when it arrives.

One of the things that makes us unique as a trade school is that we have designed each course to stand alone. Many schools have a program that is all or nothing, and if you leave before finishing, you get no credit for all your work.
Our courses, on the other hand, are each individual courses—and as long as you finish a course, your transcript will reflect completion of that course.
This is extremely important in the event that you have a life-disrupting event that prevents you from continuing on with TEI. Your effort will not be wasted. Your state will recognize those courses which you have completed with us.
The Electrical Institute is a state-approved course provider. We offer the training required to get an electrician license, therefore we are not a degree program.
TEI is not accredited per se through a national accreditation board. Instead, we strive to satisfy the requirements of each state we service. We do not issue a degree, but we do not make you take courses that do not pertain to becoming an electrician either.
So what do you get? You will get an official transcript that will satisfy the Electrical Board of your state to allow you to sit for your exam.
